Oh, come on; that tropical (NOT "camo," by the way) eagle is an obvious fake!

The 3 silver-grey sleeve eagles and the 'shrugging' sleeve eagle are OK imho, I'd not touch the gold/tan one with someone else's bargepole.

Agree on the SA/NSKK tab as well.

      Ian.

ah come on Pete, that early Pre-RZM SA stuff is all over the place.

I have seen chainstiched, hand embroidered, single metal numerals, Standarte/Sturm ones, verticals, horizontals, and ones so bad you would think a blind grandmother made them.

The one shown isn't standard for sure, but I would at least look further to see if the unit even existed as an SA sturm, or an early Motorsturm before throwing it away...

              Sorry Jerry,
Those metals numbers, if real, would have a purposeful slant to correspond to the angle of the parallelogram. They are straight up and down, probably off a bulletin board from some hotel lobby. The angle of the tab is also way off, probably trying to match the slantless numbers. Again....JUNK.

I ment the silver eagles on a strip (post 9 and 10), those look OK I believe...but I agree the tropical ones have issues...
                hammerhead, wrong feet...!Agreed...
The metal numerals also do not follow the proper NSKK pattern...agreed! Compare with mine!

Well on the tropical (sorry I used CAMO) I've done a burn test on it and all materail burned not melted, and it's past under blacklight. Any otherway to test? I got these from the same place years ago and sold a tropical and standard one to a knowledgeable collector friend in Austria who never said anything about it being a fake either when he saw it online or when I sent it to him. Trust me he would cause he offered good money for them.
