SS 12 Year Service Medal

I have a chance to buy this 12 year ss service medal from an old collection in my area. Looks good to me but I'm always weary on this stuff

From those blurry pictures the medal looks good, but the ribbon is not what it would originally have been awarded with.

No red flags until now. Except for the ribbon. What about some clear pictures?

I'll have to go take more pictures friday when I go see it again. At the moment those are the best pictures I have.

The ribbon is all wrong. it appears to be a standard width blue ribbon. And it should be bullion thread.

The medal looks like a cast.
