Private panzer skull ring?

I got this ring and nice panzer potrait. Ring is marked 800. I decided to let it go so I would like to hear opinions on ring.

So ring is not original? I searched ebay but did not find any similar rings.

Its an original ring but nothing to do with the SS if thats what you mean.

It is a good well known pattern.... This looks like a reproduction though..Even with the bad photos its enough to see the soft details, mushy overall,,etc.
Any branch of the service [or civilian] could have worn this pattern. Of course Panzer, SS , Luft. HJ, were the usual buyers of skull rings...
