was ovelrooking the mollo/bender book on the weekend, the vol. 1 of the 5 volume set on the ss. there's a short description where it describes the 'walking out' dress ensemble and there's a line or two that mentions 'dress buttons', specifically that 'the seitenhaken were taken out and replaced with buttons for the belt in dress occasions'.
i've never seen this in photos, are they talking about the screw in buttons like those on the shoulderboards or the 'half button' used on the back of poitical etc rocks?
any help greatly appreciated.
