What to buy for my first SS item...

I know that this is an old thread, but I wanted to add that I just recieved my first SS item from Phil C today; a tropical sleeve eagle! Check out the pics below.

First buys...hmmm...perhaps a set of the foreign volunteer tabs as these are still in reach of most collectors, then some bevo eagles...then some skulls--these are getting expensive though and tough to find with regard to real ones...then some cuff titles, maybe start off with a common one such as Horst Wessel, your first buy is a nice eagle

My first was a SS armband. A little more expensive than a sleeve eagle but I believe is one of the Gotta haves.

Well, I thought I would bring this up again to show the little bit of progress that I have made since I posted this WAY back!

While just a drop in the bucket compared to most SS collections, I am happy to say that I have aquired these SS items on a budget (If you can say that buying an SS dagger is on a "budget"!!).
