If you wait a few months this wrapper might magically reappear with collar tabs, shoulder boards and a nice cuff title too. Heck, maybe even a cloth DKiG as well!

                    Made by you then or?

As obviously not by this dealer! I think you acctually insinuate a lot in different threads against many dealers without never ever presenting any proof about their sewing skills or mysterious tailors making all tunics up (Why did the tailor not make this wrapper up also?). These type of comments are just totally useless when you constantly repeat yourself like a old worn out record without anything else to come with then your empty words.

And for the next poster, why show pictures of totally different wrapper from a totally different dealer???

By me? Of course not. But if you choose to believe that Weitze and Peter von Lukacs do not knowingly sell postwar-upgraded pieces as "untouched originals" then you have a lot to learn. Both of these guys have been caught selling items that have been upgraded yet defenders like you want to deflect attention away from this. I have yet to see a tunic from either of these guys I would feel comfortable with but hey, who am I to prevent you from getting burned?

No, who are you really, I think many wonder?

So you seriously mean every tunic sold by these two dealers are fakes. That comment alone just show us no collector can take you seriously!

And I doubt any does, anyhow those with a possibility to think for themselfs?

For me it is really strange you are even allowed comment like that on a public forum, seems like slander to me.

Think what you want, I simply do not care. Call it slander if it makes you feel better; this may be a defense mechanism you rely on to tell yourself the tunics you've bought from Weitze and PvL are wonderful original examples. As for their tunics, I certainly do think the ones they have sold and continue to sell with cuff titles, cloth or bullion badges, etc have been upgraded. No question at all. All you have to do is wait and you will eventually find that elusive Fliegerbluse you've been after because their tailor will put one together. Just hint around that you would love to find a Feldwebel Fliegerbluse who was a DKiG winner in JG26 "Schlageter" and one will soon pop up! They are in business to provide people what they want, right?

                            Hasse:

It's pretty common knowledge that both Weitze and PvL have added insignia to items and sold them without mentioning this in their descriptions. This does not mean that they've done this to all of their items by any means, just that it has happened and that they've been caught. Again, pretty common knowledge.

                            Regards,

                            Drew

Well, if you guys are finished discussing the merits of various dealers, perhaps we coudl get back to the subject at hand... the stug wrap. As we always say, judge the item, not the dealer.
I will say that there do seem to be a lot of these 'unissued' stug wraps floating around lately.
