I am interested in the different variations in construction of the ss schiftmutze. I have seen the boat shape and the more straight shape. Are these different models, different years of manufacturing or maker variants. Has the shape to do with the so-called model 34 (earlier version, not sure about the date) and model 40? All help would be appretiated. Also what would the appropriate insignia be for the various types. Jacques
