I bought a Winter hat of WSS with rabbit fur. I hope to post pics soon. I was wondering about the inside markings. I cant find anything yet as to codes or makers marks, But have found a faint "SS" in a circle about the size of a 50cent piece. Would this be correct for one of these?
It has the Eagle and TK on the front. The skull is an M1 52 with the disks from what I can tell. Looks to be frosted zinc? The eagle the same but afraid to mess with it to check for marks.
Anyone got any pics of these for reference?
