Cuff link (Manschettenknopf) from a vet of the SS-Polizei Division

Hello guys,

this cuff link (Manschettenknopf) was part of a SS-Polizei Hauptscharführer group.
I have no idea if this is a military item or not - the family of the vet also
didn´t know.
Perhaps someone can help?

there were many such items as this during the period.
Some were stylized swastikas, or lightning bolts etc. or sometimes just the nations colors..Some just abstract..
These are just the style of the time. Nothing military. It is nice link,,Hopefully you'll find the other one.
