    M44 pants from italian wool

I have bought this pants for my M44-armytunic, but is it really an armypant or is it a Waffen-SS pant?
The colors are very different between the tunic and the pants.
    Also the interieur is different.

Nice pair of original pants, these were used by Heer and SS troops. Without any SS specific markings inside, I would call these Heer pants.

                Nice pair

The difference of color is due to the difference of wear
Like the German wool , you can have some difference of color and texture too .

The pants are not specific to the wss , the lining is made with what was available at this period , here the classical Italian satin...

You can find those lined with several type of material , satin, coton, tropical cloth etc...and often mixed .

This pair made with Italian satin and wool is been modified IMO after war to be reissued, as told was used by Heer and SS.
Here a pair in my collection, lining is different but made with Italian cotton.
I remember to have seen this on Ebay, is it?
Medandi, you have a nice pair and is perfect for your late tunic

                    Yes, they are from ebay.
I thougth that the M44-Pants have the same legs as the early tuchhosen, not as the M43-Pants.
But i agree that the legs are modified, perhaps shortend.
