Thank you Brad. My old eyes are not as sharp as they used to be, but I have full confidence in the originality of this type skull.

I do look forward to your detailed findings.

    Thank you again, Brad.

In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

      Hi Bob,
You eyes are sharper than mine. I had to wear my reading glasses to see that unmarked skull. I looks great to me. I like it!

These unmarked skulls are certainly not made from the same dies as as any known Deschler variation. There are seven unique die flaws and characteristics that appear on all "RZM 52" and "D.&S.M." skulls, (another subject that will be featured in my book).
Unfortunately, I have found no information, as to the origins of this skull pattern.

        Best,
        Chris

I'm shooting for spring of 2009, but I don't know for sure.
I found a DSM skull, but I still need a 499/41 skull with round cones,
and then I will have all of the pieces that I need for the book, (with the exception of the early Assmann skull, which I have given up on finding).

            Best, Chris

Can you describe the early Assmann.
