YES why not? It was commonly done, even breast eagles BUT it has nothing to do with this thread on Italian SS! Reflecting further I guess you are trying to illustrate that odd combinations were not uncommon (like my example of SS insignia on a US field jacket) BUT this is German on German and often done!
