SS-membership pin?

Hi guys!

I found this really nice and I think quite rare SS-mebership pin on button. All others I have seen has been on needle.

I think this is a private purchase, maybe early membership badge?

It is makermarked JFS and has a number engraved, someone has scratched it on the back, I think they have scratched away the owners initials.

No other maker is credited.

I believe this very pin (or one identical to it) was discussed here within the past few months, and the consensus was that it was bad...

JFS never had an SS contract, and as said above, is a well known fake. See Cone's book on enamel badges.

certainly has age old patina, could this be a real pin and had fake runes applied, or how old could this be, any ideas?
