Hi Christopher, my concern would be the "salt shaker" type air vents to the top of the fez. I have not seen these featured on any original wartime fez before.

I'd be more concerned looking at his "100% original" SS Kavallerie visor for €1800 or his "100% original" SS officer's helmet for €1500

I agree. As far as I know(I may be wrong) WSS fez was produced with black, tan, and maroon sweatbands. I am not aware of any grey sweatbands. The fez in question does appear to be a military piece, and I suspect someone just sewed some SS insignia to the front and removed it, just to leave some threads as if it was a stripped authentic piece.

Overall, the construction is good for a military fez, but unfortunately not a WSS one.
