      Interesting and nice pictures.

Such a low rank soldier is wearing the old fighters chevron. It has be a rather early photo (40/41 is my guess). He seems to wear a bullion TK collar patch. Any chance of seeing a close up?

Yes, it does look like a bullion hand embroidered tab...

        Notice the GPB as well.

Anyone want to venture a guess on the color of the piping on those boards? Looks brown to me.

              Hi felix,
maybe later, due to the m43 cap?
              Nice pics by the way.

GPB means this chap also had the Totenkopfring.

No combat awards, and the picture must be from 1942 or later.

                  An admin wallah, I think.

This Alte Kampfer doesn't exactly look in the first flush of youth, not sure if we can see enough to know whether he's wearing a cufftitle ? Perhaps he's been busy on security duties bearing in mind his age, not even a KVKIImS though.

All supposition of course, except it's post late '42.

Has an Old Fighter Chevron, but such a low rank? He wasn't exactly on the SS career "fast track." Probably not a happy "camper."

Remember..............anyone who was in the Hitler Youth before 1933 qualified for the chevron.

So an SS man who was 17 in 1939 could wear the chevron with his SS uniform if he had been a 10-year-old HJ boy in 1932.

The man indicated in this famous photo wore the chevron and was still a private soldier at the time of the clearing of the Warsaw Ghetto.

Member of the "totenkopfverbände", Golden party badge, ice cold look...

I know most don't like to hear it but the SS was declared a criminal organisation, I know the Waffen SS was an elite fighting unit, but he wasn't in the Waffen SS, he was probably a camp guard and war criminal...

Is that a Sten Gun on that last picture?
