Zimmerman cupal skull

The pins attatch in the same way as this Zimmerman eagle. Do not have a reverse of the skull handy..........JimmyComment

I have s such an eagle by myself. But i found pics of the reverse of a zimmermann Tk with the same reverse, i´ve posted and many members meant, it is good. So i thought, there are different variations?Comment

That's correct, the Zimmermann skull has the coned attachment to the prongs, aswell as the chrimped one.Comment

Anders is correct. Zimmermann used two different pin attachments, one a horizontal fold-over crimp and one a uniform round swage, which most refer to as a cone. Here is a comparison of an original whith this style (below) and a very good copy (above):
