IMHO I would say NO, not authentic when compared with a couple of known originals. Y'all really have to watch these as there are now some serious high-tech reproductions out there... I was told by a good source that there were way too many matching pairs of SS general's collar tabs at the last MAX Show. They're getting really good. I don't like this one; my opinion.

It certainly is one of the more well done repros I've seen, with nice tight embroidery and well defined leaves. The giveaway is the crooked top leaf, if you notice how the stem bends at an odd angle.Comment

Among other give aways. It's getting to the point that if you know of somebody who has an absolutely guaranteed original pair, you ask to borrow them before you go to the SOS or MAX to use as a side-by-side compare to be sure. Wanna bet more SS general's uniforms will now come out for sale? On just about every reproduction SS general's tunics, the collar tabs were one of the major giveaways.

Certainly one of the better fakes. As a general rule, anytime something is sold on ebay as "Elite Division" or whatnot, run... fast. Just a personal observation.Comment
