    SS flatwire embroidery???

    Hello,
Can anybody tell me if there exists such a thing as SS officer's cuff titles that are basic RZM pattern, but with a flatwire type of weaving to the text? So I don't mean flatwire cuff titles that are entirely woven in a flatwire weave, but regular RZM pattern officer's cuff titles that don't have a text woven in bullion thread, but using silver thread in a flatwire type of weave? Many thanks in advnace for any input!

There are variants of the flatwire cuff titles. The only RZM bands, I can think of, with flatwore ,ettering are the Grenz-Polizei.

Attached are the 4 versions of flatwire reverses I know of. i don't have the flatwire Grenz-Polizer to add to the photo.

From the top are: Aufbauschule Nagold, Absolon, Prinz Eugen,
    Nordland.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

There are very attractive fakes with fine hand embroidered bullion, applied vertically and sewn down with fine silver-gray horizontal thread. This style was never produced during the Third Reich era.

            many thanks!

            Hello gentleman,

well thank you for your replies! I have been offered a Westland cuff title that has only the text woven in a silver thread flatwire weave and though it looks original as far as age and letter shape and positioning I will pass on it!
