    Germanic SS sleeve badges...differences?

    Dear all,

Hereby a few specific questions for the cloth specialists: Was this badge - a Germanic SS sleeve badge with RzM etiket from my collection - only worn by the (black) SS troops of Norway, Belgium and the Netherlands? Was it the same type for all three countries? And if not, what are the specific differences?

What also intrigues me is the fact that these sleeve badges were produced in Germany and had a (quality) RzM check, unlike many of the other, locally produced, insignia worn by these black SS-troops.

All reactions are most welcome! Thanks in advance!

    Best regards,

    Coco

      Hi Coco.

The one you have posted is the German made one and it was used on the black uniform by men from Norway, Belgium and the Netherlands.
I have posted a norwegian made one. As you can see the runes are much bigger.

      Regards
      Derek

        The Germanic SS badge...

That sounds logic! Thanks again Derek!
