I like the way he words this

    Appear 100% authentic

He never states they are, but they appear to be ...

Reason enough to avoid this seller

Good point, Mark! That is, indeed, a good way for a good (or even mediocre) con-artist to disclaim total responsibility for the junk he's selling. Those are definitely words to be wary of, in any case.

For whatever it's worth, I just also sent this guy an e-mail telling him a few things he probably already knows. Although that won't stop him, it will at least give him a little discomfort knowing that he's been spotlighted as a thief. I know that thieves never like to be found out, before they've even pulled off their crime. Since I (like many) have been burned by thieves like this earlier in my collecting, I am also quite sensitive to people trying to pull this stuff off. Con-men on e-Bay do have to make their e-mail public and accessable, therefore asking for whatever they get--such as people letting them know that they're selling fakes. So, I have at least also done my part in informing him of that.

Wow! This guy is as rude as they get! His response to my rather polite e-mail is actually too rude to even post most of it. However, here is at least some of what is only moderately rude:

"What makes you an expert? There seem to be scores of self proclaimed ones. I think I'll be one too just like you...... Do you comb Ebay for people to bother because you don't have anything better to do. If so you have your work cut out for you. Get a life."

Now, "combing e-Bay" is certainly one of the dumbest ideas this guy has ever suggested, as it would surely put him out of business fast!

            Hello
The solution for all these people is simple :
If we all register on ebay with fake account ( one or two each) and bid and win these items every time we see them , that will drive these guy out ( well we hope) they will never be able to sale anything again , and receive a wave of justified feedbacks ... and that will make us feel good
            Regards

Yes, Soldat de Fer! That really is a good idea, for sure! That way, this guy would really get himself the "combing" he needs!

                Good Idea

A "fake" account to Ebay. That sounds like a well thought out plan......

Yes, certainly a very fitting title for it's purposes!

Actually, if you send these replies to eBay and complain about the seller, they might yank his stuff and give him a reprimand. Using such language, etc. is prohibited by their rules if I'm not mistaken. Or just tell eBay that his listing is offensive to you and the organization you represent. You don't have to tell them which organization...

someone appears to have purchased w/buy it now. Seems odd to me after this conversation about fake accounts that the winning bidder would have "0" feedback....

Sounds like one of his SCHILL bidders just bought it because it's coming under fire (of course we'd like to think that WE caused something to happen). He'll have it up there again soon and hoping that we don't catch him.

That sounds like a great idea, and certainly one of the most realistic and effective things to do, as well!

                            Hahahaha

Stahelm, turn him in for selling Nazi Militaria, get him booted from EBAY and then when he responds to you my advice would be to say "Sorry Bro, Thats how I ROLL".

                              Dr. Stangelove,

I think I like that option best of all, actually! That's hitting him where it hurts most, with a little ironic "humor" as well.

                              Chris

P.S. Nice limousine! I have one just like it.
