Thanks Bob, great info! The cap I am looking at is also stamped with SCHMID & MENNER . However the lining is a champane color, not red. Does anyone here have a photo of an appropriate stamp for this manufacturer? The insignia on this cap is certainly "tropical" not the autum variety.
