      But I would have been happy if all we got was Reg Varney, making the worlds first ever cash withdrawl, from THE WORLDS first automated cash machine. Only in Britain guys, only in Britian.

          Nice tunic Jacques, congrats to Lorenzo for his work!

          About carots: always wanted to ask if most of people that "spit" on SS restored tunics ever owned one (100% untouched....or restored?)

            There is nothing wrong with a restored tunic, as long as it started life as SS, etc, and remained in the same branch, after restoration.

            I bought a highly modified Totenkopf EM tunic that a collector had sold after stripping off the RZM Totenkopf cuff title. I have been looking, for a long time, for a worn RZM Totenkopf cuff title to restore the tunic. I will be very happy if I find a nice used title and have it applied, by someone who knows how to doi it correctly.

              hello Bob,
              I will be happy to help you in restore the title on your EM TK tunic if you need.
              Correctly, in respect of the title and the tunic, with original thread and in the correct way.

                Thank you, Lorenz. The problem is finding the right RZM enlisted Totenkopf cuff title that will match the wear on the tunic. It is sad that it was removed, but the collector only collects cuff titles and insignia. I have had this for a long time and the cuff title will cose me nuch more than I paid for the tunic.

                  Extreme nice Tunic

                  But...

                  A BEVO Sleeve eagle (1939/40-1945) and a gothic script cuff title (replaced Dec. 1939 through Blockletters, latin script) together - is this historic possible?

                    Of course it was.

                      strangely

                      @Mike Davis

                      Because I have never found a photo with this mix.
                      And I have seen 1000 of 1000s photos in my life.
                      Front line photos, Wochenschau movies, books, studio portraits, forums etc...

                      This time was the first time now.
                      (Except faked or wrong self made fantasy tunics.)

                      I would be happy if somebody could find a photo for me.

                      Perfect would be a M36 Heer Tunic with EM BEVO sleeve eagle and a officer gothic script "Deutschland" cuff title.

                        Sorry I don't have time to look for you. Perhaps someone else can post a photo from one of the DF or Das Reich divisional histories. Anyway, here is a service blouse configured as discussed. Of course I could have whipped this thing up to make my point. Except that I didn't.

                          Amazing Tunic Mike. You always seem to have the best, IMO

                            @Mike Davis

                            Thank you very much.

                            btw

                            But one problem I see.
                            This tunic has 2 holes and not 3.
                            A tunic with 2 holes are not a Heer one.

                                Why yes, it is a converted M42. Sorry that I don't have a M36 example on hand at the moment, I am fresh out. I will try to remember your request and will post a photo if someone else that might possibly care doesn't beat me to it.
