Does anyone know what the letter means on the reverse of the FM stick pin. I have a C on my example but I've seen an E on others? And I've seen an S on the FM honor member's pins.

Hi Mike
There is no definitive answer to your question that I know of, as I am still trying to find the meaning of the alpha numeric codes myself.
The number on the reverse of the badge is the issue number, as opposed to the FM membership number which I have seen written in various places. There are numerous alpha codes and the standard badge I believe ends with 'L' series.
The issues numbers could be merely in sequential order from A onwards, This is logical, though I would have expected a 'B' pin to appear on the market at some point.
The honour pin always starts with an 'S'. It is logical this could stand for Silber, or they gave it an alpha code that they did not expect pin production to reach.
The most common issued pins seem to be A,C,D & E
When I have the definitive answer I will let you know
Raymond
