No more pictures of the eagle were necessary. It is a horrible and obvious reproduction which bears no likeness to an original.
The TK, on the other hand, looks to me like it may be an original piece which was never completed. It may have been among the work in progress when the plant ceased operation, or it may have been a test piece which was saved. Regardless, my guess is that the pin was added shortly after the war (either in Germany or, possibly, even back in the States) to "complete" the GI's souvenir. Much like the Frankenstein daggers of mismatched parts, which were put together from what was left in the factory after the war in order to meet the demands of the occupying GI's for souvenir daggers, this TK may have been a "put together" TK, made from what was left of an incomplete production lot. In any case, from what I can see in the photos, I find the TK consistent with the unmarked skulls which are generally considered as original TR and attributed to Deschler.
