Having had fakes passed as the real thing, especially SS flags, twice on me, I'm very hesitant. I'm going to email this guy and ask for pictures of the corners to see if they're reinforced. And of course, as you'll notice, their is no silver bullion fringe.

$600. sounds way too cheap for an original Lager Fahne. I have one of similar construction except the stamping is different and the stitching on the body of the Fahne is not white. While I bought it as original, I believe it to be a well constructed fake. The material is a wool type material and matches up very nicely to original Kriegsfahnen I have owned. The lanyard edge is very well done with a lot of detail. I used to have fotos of it on my computer but I must have purged them. If the interest is here to see a few images, I will shoot a few and post them for comparison.
All in all, it displays very well but I do believe it to be a fake, as with this one posted on this topic.
