SS-SA pilot wings - opinions please

I hope someone can tell me if this SS/SA pilot wing is good or bad?

Looks like it has been removed from a uniform.

I would say it's bad as the quality of the embroidery leaves everything to be desired. Low quality reproduction, in my opinion.

Drew is absolutely correct. the originals are small works of art with fine bullion detail work. It is a verty rare insignia and I have only seen 2 originals.

I would say it's bad

That was my second thought. The first was, "that's too cheap".

Does anyone have a document or photo confirming this particular pattern of the badge? The only close-up period picture of the insignia I have seen, (the terrific Bittrich portrait in Max William's book), seems to indicate SS runes on both sides of the eagle.
