Early JST (Tölz) collar-tab?

Is this (for me) strange-looking collar-tab the early JST one? He is wearing - although not visible on this foto but on others from that lot - an "SS-Schule Tölz" cufftitle.

Would it be possible to post all photographs of this individual in the black uniform. I have tried to blow up the collar tab to some sort of clarity but the results are nil.

Unfortunately this is the only foto available - it came out of a complete album that was offered at a local show, but to expensive. This foto was a double, so I was able to get it, nothing else. But I have seen the "Tölz"-cufftitle on other fotos of the same man in diff. poses.
