Fake Cloth coming out of eastern europe

Most of you guys are aware of this cloth, but some may not be. It must be 1960's eastern european military.

Note the ribbed weave. Out of curiosity does anyone know what the cloth is.

It has the same size marks and Eagle as the Panzer jacket I posted . If you dont know SS insignia or uniforms you could get fooled as they are quite well made and aged .Rob.

            Has anyone contacted this scumbag?
Once again he knows it's a fake as he has set it to a private auction so bidders can't be warned.
Would people please stop bidding on these private auctions, there's only one realy good reason for having them.......well we all know what that is
            Ant.

This material has been out for some time now. I first encountered it at the Great Western Gun show back in the early 90s.

Oh my, this is absolutely horrid. If somone falls for this with any inkling of period uniforms they should be shot.

Its a rarity that any genuine stuff were sold on Ebay,so nobody need to wondering!
Iv'e seen in the last few years no original SS Uniform on Ebay, maybe there
                  was never any on Ebay.

Or did anyone bought a original SS Tunic on Ebay?? Please post a pic of it!!!

In Germany we say:"Ebay ist nur was für Deppen".

                    Ebay

This tunic and many hundreds like them have been sold on Ebay by Latvian sellers. One dealer in the UK sold an identical tunic like this one on his website for 1800 UK pounds(3600 US dollars).
www.wehrmachtmilitaria.co.uk/ check out page 6 item number 1253.

Of course he doesn't know his history very well... in 1939 and 1940 the Soviets occupied Latvia so this uniform. as well as the Latvian Legion, didn't exist during those two years... probably not until late 1941 or early 1942... then it was the Latvian Legion, which wore a different two-piece Latvian sleeve shield. Of course this doesn't mention that this is an M43 tunic, which is mid-to-late war. HISTORY trips up a lot of the fakers because they don't invest time in looking up the facts to match their stories! And this guy can't even spell AUTHENTIC!!!
