      Dave,

Did you black out the man's name in Michigan on the paperwork? I think there are a lot of people in this community who KNOW this man's name. He got a lot of stuff out of a lot of heavy hitters including the Karl Demelhuber collection. The collection got broken up into several pieces; my friend Willi owns the insignia grouping.

        Hi
        Bob,
I did, and am sure most of the older hard core collectors know his name, but no scam artist can atempt to sell the group with out owning it. I remeber seeing your buddy's grouping and remember one of the MAX's it was for sale at in a frame, I was with out funds, I really like it and would have bought it.

          DaveJ,

Good thinking on your part no allowing people to see his name. With the Demelhuber insignia grouping came a typed list of the entire inventory, which was signed by the general, as well as the buyer. Thus it is one of the best documented SS general's groupings around today. Willi bought it from a dealer at the MAX from Minnesota. At the MAX in 2007, he took the grouping to Gus, who had the uniform grouping. So for about 15 minutes or so, two of the groupings were together again. It was a sight to behold.
