Chrome Ss Belt & Buckle Set

Hi all

I've been offered this ss belt and buckle for sale.My wife took pictures of it and this is the only picture that turned out.From what my wife says it sounds like a copy,looks nickle plated,its a shame I didn't get to see it.
From the picture what do you think?Am I right a dodgy repro...or not?

Well, the SS EM schloss was made in nickel and does take on a nice gleem when polished but not quite the glow as the one in in your foto. Could it be an original that some knucklehead had chrome plated? Sure, but that would have killed the collectors value of it. It certainly could be q repro as well. Pictures of the rear construction and any makers marks would go a long way to figuring out what this is exactly.
