Dutch Volunteer Shield

Hello To All,
Could I get opinions on this first pattern Dutch SS shield. There was one thread on this type of shield but it didn't show details of the front close up and nothing on the back. The thread was: "Four more Volunteer shields for you" (sic).

Any opinions, pro or con, are welcome and greatly appreciated.
