I am not certain about this one, but I think it is OK. I would like to see some better photos, but, from these, it looks like an original RZM 52 Deschler. If it is original, I suspect that the pins have been replaced. I have only seen this type of TK with flat pins with squared ends (no points). However, it could also be an original variation I am simply not familiar with. I would really like to inspect this one first hand.
I will be interested to see what Chris has to say.

It doesn't look good to me, but I need better pics to be sure!
Remember that the "RZM 52" and "D.&S.M." marked skulls were by far, the thinnest of all SS visor insignias, including all makers skulls, eagles, ect.

You made a very valid observation regarding the thickness. The RZM52s are normally quite thin, to the point of seeming delicate. In spite of this very legitimate concern, I am not yet ready to dismiss this one entirely. Other than the thickness and the unusual pins for this style, are you seeing anything else which I don't? I would like to fully understand your rationale.
Thanks,
Brad

Hi Brad!
Yes, but I really can't clarify anything for sure, without better pictures.
Like I said, I would not dismiss it 100% either, without better photos but I
certainly believe that it is most likely a fake. Anyway, I have seen many good "RZM 52" castings and this one appears very similar to one particular strand of fakes that I have seen, (except for the pins). The material appears to be the exact same color and tone, (I don't know what it is and I really can't explain how it looks to me, but it is just different from the originals). The aging appears too dark on some of the high points of the surface and it doesn't look natural to me. Also, the crispness of the surface appears lacking as well. This might all be due to the photos but because of the thickness, I seriously doubt it.
Awaiting better photos. If it is real, the seller will most likely be willing to provide better photos. If not, then it certainly most likely bad.
Best, Chris
