    SS camo wrap & trousers?

    Gentlemen,
I am trying to get some information for a good friend who is on vacation. He has found the uniform described below. He is going to join our forum as soon as he returns home to Florida. I have no pictures of the uniform and only his description. Any and all help will be very much appreciated! Here is what he sent to me:

"I would like some information on how to tell if a Waffen SS "Normandy Dot" pattern camo panzer wrap & trousers are real. I am looking at one where the wrap looks good but comes with matching trousers without the internal waist belt but has loops for an outer belt. What throws me off also is that the pocket flaps on the trousers have (2) two buttons rather than the (1) one normally found on SS camo trousers.

If you have any information on items like this please let us know and I will forward the info on to him. Thank you very much for your kind attention to my request for help.
    Regards,
    Dick

For most of this camo stuff we really need pictures. For myself, I would be skeptical of anything that is not typical or by the book. You might have found something really good, but in this community, more than likely it's too good to be true. Life is sometimes difficult when you're a cynic, but in this community it's best to pass on something iffy than to get stuck with something that is fake and costs an 'arm and a leg'. Better to err on the safe side.

Both double and single button versions were produced. But caution is advised with this type of garment.
