Hi Nick, I'm a bit late coming in on this one. I bet the vets discharge papers show a dishonerable one from the Pakistan armed forces?????

Haven't we been here before? Strong evidence against both cap and tunic. Let's move on.

I happened to run across this: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=158956. Is this one of the "no brainers" to which you were referring?

            .

Actually no, that is a piece again from a collector. If it was a "no brainer" I would have bought it. Attached is a "no brainer." I mean daggers and swords that at max retail are not worth the time to reproduce well. So Ive posted some items that are fake in hopes of being a home run, I do not see this as being a call for offense or a great travesty.

Gentlemen, We all know that there are a huge number of con men out there, But I dont think getting into a slagging match with each other will do much good, Apart from scaring new users to the site from asking for advice in case it happens to them.
I do agree that you must do your home work on anything you wish to collect.
Good luck to everyone in their collecting.

                My Sentiments...

                Gentlemen:

I'm a younger and novice collector, and I feel compelled to offer my sentiments. I've been burned a few times by the many con artists out there who have plagued our hobby. The WAF has been a Godsend. I cannot fully express my thanks to the many postings of Messers Abenheim, Pic,"NTZ", and many others and the personal and kind help of Messers Hritz, Lumsden, and Wirtz.

I've stuck with this hobby, even after some pretty rough experiences, because of the folks on this forum (believe me--my girlfriend would've been happier if I dropped my obsession long ago!). Please do not allow the sometimes hostile or reflectively-defensive statements of a forum member or two to allow you to conclude that helping us newbies goes unappreciated. I appreciate the help everyday and hope you will all continue to offer your kind help and advice as you have done so in the past.

I'd rather get the brutal truth and learn, than either fly blind and "happy" or worse, give up on collecting all together.

                Onward!

These two stunning comments say it all. He's seen them, he just didn't know it; just like the SS items.

It looks like the password has been changed to the pictures of the tunic...

Just like Hitler, He also wanted it all at once ... So I guess it´s not a matter of generation

Actually... I don't see anything wrong with "wanted it all at once" or "have it now" ... I always do that when I play Monopoly.
