I'm not saying they're original,we've been over this time and time again... I personally don't like them at all. For that matter you can add that I don't like ground-dug items either so .....

Too many people think that because they've dug something out of the ground it must therefore be original. Remember the stories of repro ID discs being buried and then rediscovered in the presence of 'tourist' diggers the following year ?

BTW I don't see a picture of that eagle in wear on that site .. unless I really AM going blind. If you like them cool, not for me though thanks.

    Ian.

You'll find several period photos of these TK & adler in wear.

      All the best Rich
Yes, the website is a nice photo source, but the photos show SS soldiers from Estonia and not from Latvija. But now I saw a special kind of the East European SS skull in wear. Thank you!

Nice photos of the Estonia SS. Robin, do you know about the existence of a SS Latvija skull , or are the Estonia skulls the same like Latvija skulls? I'm confused again. If Latvija style SS skulls existed, do you have pictures that show a Latvija skull in wear?

This one looks original to me.......it just has that 'natural' ageing about it. You can't artificially age a thing like this.

That's the skull I wanted to see . My Estonia skull is in poor condition (ground dug), but I compared the details and it's the same kind of skull.

                        Karl.

I THINK the guy on the left in this shot is wearing your type of skull.

God only knows what the guy on the right is wearing. He looks to me like the daft one from the film 'Come and See'......the one with the shorts and the wellies!

Robin, look at the jawline (especially the bottom left (as we look) of the mandible) .... I'd put my money on an alumium Deschler. There's no nick in that jaw,and it jutts out slightly ?

                          Best regards,Ian.

We saw skull variants from Estonia, from Latvija....What other variants of metal, local skulls (of foreign SS soldiers) were made ? Somebody, who can show us such other skulls and photos of the skulls in wear?
