I would like to share my recent find which I got no more than a month ago from a relative of the veteran, which is still alive by the way. It came with a portrait photo and a certification to the General Assault Badge. He was member of Wiking Division.

Any thought about the boards?

sorry I do not like the shoulder straps either, piping looks over thick button holes are strange and they are sewn together rather sloppy, not saying that did not happen period but these would not be a pair i would want, sorry

They really came from him. He is even still alive. Of course veterans also bought a lot of replicas after war but rather medals etc...
