          Opinions on Old Fighters Chevron

I'm considering selling this Old Fighters Chevron but I would like to get opinions on whether it is original. It doesn't appear to have ever been sewn on anything but there is some corrosion on the silver bullion - may clean up? Thank you for any information on this piece.

            Bob,
the chevron looks ok to me, its alu wire not silver bullion, it would not be wise to try to clean the
oxidisation just leave it as it is
            cheers

I was mearly indicating that it may clean-up , from experience I've learned not to mess with stuff like this - with my luck I usually end up with a hand full of thread and powder.
If original can anyone tell me an accurate value for this piece?

Is this THE Bob Carter? Nice chevron. They sell from $75 to $200, depending on who wants it, condition, time of day, proximity to last paycheck, etc.
                  Regards,
                  Tom
