    Das Reich uniform for renactment

Where can I find the pattern/plans/template to provide to a facility whom would make me an uniform for re-enacting?

What pattern was the uniform for Das Reich called?
What type of wool was used?

Also what is the difference compared to a wehrmacht uniform?

http://www.1944militaria.com/ make 'good' repro uniforms .. for the differences read the site. Their insignia is reproduction, but some of it isn't too far from the mark.

    Hope this helps,Ian.

you're probably better off buying from a known repro vendor than trying to get a pattern and take it to a regular old tailor. a regular old tailor just wouldn't know the intricacies of german ww2 uniform design. http://www.lostbattalions.com/german2idx.html is another good one, although it's on the pricey end of the spectrum.
if you have your heart set on a custom made job from a pattern, then the only place on earth i know who sells them (although i'm hoping to change that with a design of my own) is this one: http://www.harriets.com/wwiipatterns.htm
i have noted many inaccuracies in their m36 design, though, so i wouldn't honestly use their pattern if you want a good feldbluse.

We had this friend who was in the U.S. Army who was a reenactor. He was stationed in Romania and found a great tailor to make several civilian suits since he was getting ready to get out of the service. He got the idea of having this guy make an Army black panzer wrapper and a four pocket tunic. He brought them on a visit and tried them on for us... it was funny as hell because the upper and lower pockets on the right side were lower (about 2") that those on the right. We all cocked our heads to the one side and said, "Yeah, that looks right now!" Take Hee-La's advice and buy from the established professionals. They do this for a living.

Lost Battalions probably make the best repro uniforms in that they are all patterned from originals (the owner, Ed Walton, is a collector) and their patterns were cut by a Jewish former KL prisoner who had made uniforms during the war! The most significant difference is in the quality of the materials: Lost Battalions uniforms are made in a high grade wool, most unlike the wool/rayon mix which characterised German uniforms during the war, aprticularly towards the end. They will also add the appropriate repro insignia for you.

            Repo Das Reich uniform

Let me know if you are interested in this one.....

Aside from the helmut which does not fit the mannequin, it looks pretty good
