I'm afraid its nothing more exciting than a standard duty smock worn by both Schwestern and Sanitater [but not Helferin for some reason] for doing more manual and messy work with their patients.
It was worn over their usual ward uniform. Doctors wore them too.
There were no such thing as SS nurses, but the SS did employ the Freie or NS Schwesternshaft, the politicised branch of the DRK.
As for Lebensborn armbands I have seen a photo of a NS nurse on the front cover of a magazine wearing just such a smock over her uniform with the aformentioned cuff. Sadly I saved this photo on my PC a couple of years ago and never printed it off - a shame as not long after a virus completely wiped my drive.
