I have an option on this armband currently for sale and would appreciate your opinions prior to purchase. The seller desribes this as "SS Supplementary Reserve " and the wording of the sale is as follows:
"Members of reserve companies over the age of 45 were authorized insignia that was not exactly the same as with regular SS units. For a short time the SS-Stammabteilung wore the armband with the light grey stripes in place of the standard SS black. By mid-1937 this armband was apparently dicontinued."
No proper SS RZM label. Maybe used for SA too."
My questions are:
1) Is it original
2) Is the desription accurate and,
3) Is the asking price of 200Euros ok.
Sorry to ask so many questions. I am searching out decent reference material for armbands but there does not appear to be much available
