i found this and want your opinion guys, part of me says good part says no good. the part that says good is it looks like a 155 i have the only part im scared of is on the right side the lack of detail for where you would see the tiny indentations on the top of the skull but you see them on the back of the skull so is it possible that the metal just wore down?

I believe that is a modern copy. Here is an original Ges Gesch (Assman) for comparison.....

The pictures are not very good, but I don't think that it is an original,
(especially since, in my opinion, all SS contract numbers will be
followed by a year, such as "155/42").
Still need to see better pics to be 100% sure.
I certainly would not take the chance without them.

If the first one is a copy it looks to be cast from an original...as the lettering on the two examples appears to be an exact match...the first one does not have a feature that I like to see on the original late war SS Assmann pieces, but it could be the photo....can you get better pix?Comment
