              I have original GD cypher that was made in same style like the DF cypher , I’m just wondering why this DF is cast , but GD is not ?

                          DF-2.JPG DF-1.JPG Only very early cyphers SS-TK and SS-VT could be made in the form of casting. Cyphers for waffen-ss have always been stamped from thin metal.

                            It looks soft and cast to me as well, sorry. Here's some highlight angles showing and original officer's DF cypher.
