I wanted your opinion(s) on the colors of these shoulder boards. IMHO, the color looks bright but not as bright as white would be (see the silver coloring), almost a orange / light brownish color. They definetely have a color if you look to the contrast of the other colors.
What I can tell is, this portrait comes from a big lot of Allg.SS Photographs from unit "Brandenburg" and within the lot were also photograph clearly taken at a KZ. According to the sources online, Brandenburg did provide support for a KZ and as well was one of the 3 regiments formed to form the Einsatzgruppe? I have another photograph of this mann, wearing the Brandenburg cuftitle.
