I too have just had dealing's with Kevin Mckeaigg. Unfortunatly I didn't see this thread If I had I would not have bothered.
I bought a Dirlewanger tab from him through Ebay, his Id was E-bayseller1594
After I paid he was suspended. He then came back on as Militaria002, he never sent my tab, he kept in touch with a never ending supply of BS and then decided to stop replying to my e-mails.
I would warn anyone against buying from him. His returns policy amounts to nothing more than ignoring email's and hoping you will give up without a fight.
But unfortunatly for him I didn't and Paypal have just refunded my payment.

      Cheers Dave.

              No excuses.

              Just to reiterate:

I have set everyone straight who has EVER had an issue with an item. I do so by refunding and promptly, period. To be clear, at least as many as I intend to set straight. Those set straight would be those who have actually contacted me, actually returned an item in question and actually returned it in the condition sent/sold. As to prompt. I am as prompt as they are.

Those attempting to return items they damaged got the item back with a so sorry charlie, Those attempting to get a refund without returning the item shall continue to be dismayed untill they do return the item. those claiming lengthy times to get a refund need to keep thier story straight and operate in a timely manner thenselves to get the results they wish.

If you personally have some issue, bear in mind the above and send it to my email.kevinmckeaigg@yahoo.com. If you have another email for me, assume it is NOT being checked and has not been for a while and likely will not be.

If you are not someone who personally has an issue, then keep your comments and lack of actual knowlege or usefull imput to yourself. An example of such would be crusty the clown here.

                Forgot to add this;

I do have one transaction currently in progress. It seems the gentleman is VERY concerned with how long it took me to refund. This after he took weeks to decide what his final story would be and send the item back. I travel and he was told I would not do the refund untill I returned. I returened and it is sent. Please reference the above.

If you do know of something, send it to my email.kevinmckeaigg@yahoo.com. If you have another email for me, assume it is NOT being checked and has not been for a while ad likely will not be.

Send the money back, Wolfen. Regardless of your opinion of the item, if the customer is unhappy, send the money back. If you value your reputation on the web, send it quickly.

The gentleman was allowed to withdraw his bid and the cap was sold to another happy collector. I did not charge him to with draw the bid from ebay since, of course, I did pay the fee and Ebay will require a bidder that renigs on a bid to pay the fees, if requested by the seller.
Since he is a novice and can't make a decision on his own I let it go. He should well know that sice he had already talked to me on the phone by the time he posted this so there was no need to post and fret and try to be one of the boys.

As posted to the other thread:

This is the same counteroffer you made when you first told me you were not happy with the piece and did not believe it was the correct piece at all. As per my written policies, I do not and will not issue refunds until the item(s) are back in my hands and inspected. It was VERY clear in the auction that the item(s) must be returned to get a refund and must be in "as sent" condition.

This applies all the more to overseas transactions since it is common to run in to a variety of scams such as the item being “ lost in the mail” or sending bogus funds and forged money orders etc., etc., yada, yada, I am sure you have seen as much or more. This of course includes asking the refund be sent and keeping the item. Not to say you will, just pointing out.

I am reminded of a gentleman here on this site, as a matter of fact, who tried an interesting one. I was almost convinced but his lack of follow-up action reassured me I was right in standing by my policies. I have a copy of my posting to him but I will leave off his name. No need for that. The issue is past.

This gentleman purchased two overseas caps, one DAK and one piped Army Art.. He kept the DAK and sent the other back for a refund. When the item was returned it had a hole where, apparently, some one had attempted to remove the eagle or some such something. The point being, the item was not in the condition it was sold/shipped in. I told him, as per my written policy, he would not receive a refund on an item damaged after it leaves my hands. I did say that I would send the cap back once he sent funds for shipping, again, as per written policy.

He attempted to convince me that he had received it in this condition. Not likely, since the package was not damaged but the cap had a finger sized hole in it. Additionally, I had my usual pre-ship photos, taken the day it was sent and of course, no hole. He persisted and I recommended, since he sent the item insured, that he file a claim and I would provide before photos to go with his after photos to back him up. I sent the photos and have not heard from him since. No Ebay claim, no PayPal claim, no small court claims, never sent shipping funds, no other communication. Just sour grapes because he was caught in what I deemed as an obvious situation that I refused to be fooled by.

                                Kevin L. McKeaigg.

Therefore, I will stick to my policy of having returned items in hand to do a refund. However, the offer will always stand to one and all.

If you need shipping info, ask at my Email address and I will send it out.

                                Kevin L. McKeaigg
