The wear on the runes does not match that of the tab

Latvian homemade SS runes were found quite often in the ground in the 1990s. And then runes were installed on reproduction of tabs of SS collar.

I removed a bit the white dust from ss runes with toothbrush Looks better now I think
The white staff on ss runes was probably from bad storage over the years

I have also very interestning Latvian version of SS runes, probably handwork and made from signal rocket shells.

you have one of the most common types of Latvian runes.I read that this version was produced at the medical instruments factory in Riga (again I am not sure of the accuracy of the information), but they are of the best quality out of all the variety.
