    Hi Gents!

    Best regards!

SS pattern Parka design but late war yes seen on Heer (army). I think the plan was to have everybody wear the same garments eventually. Liebermuster is another example of that in 1945.

Are the cuffs in the sleeve elasticed? And do the buttons look like they've been replaced?
Also, is there any markings inside it?
It looks like it may have been shortened as well but may be just the angle of the pics

Looks okay from what I can see

The buttons maybe, can replaced, yes.
The cuffs are not elasticed, only just the waist.
Marking you find inside,on the bottom a number "2 " (p on the picture you can see it)
I think its not shortened version.

                Best regards!

You're right, it hasn't been shortened as it still has the 9 button holes, but if all the buttons have been replaced it tends to suggest it was re-issued to the czech army after the war and someone has since restored it back to it's wartime configuration. The removal of the elastized cuffs is no issue as it could have been done by the wearer IMO.

Here are some pics of them in wear, all Hitler Jugend members very late in the war.
As Frosfall said, does anyone have any images of them being worn by the SS?

As I said earlier, nice original wartime parka

(picture 1 as credited, hopefully they won't mind me using the image here)

I have better check the buttons, but they are not replaced.
The Italian parkas, what the Czeh army have used, all have a stamp, with a Lion or/and a crown or /and crossed swords.
By After the war period used parkas frequently have not removed the buttons, they used forward the cloth with the german buttons.

                        Best regards!
