Zeiss Stereometer Vergr 8 Binoculars

I have a couple questions regarding Carl Zeiss Jena Stereometer Vergr 8 I found on ebay:

I used key words 'Zeiss Stereometer' and googled online, almost all information I can find on English speaking websites is about Zeiss cameras, not binoculars. I wonder if this binocular is a very rare model? If so, is it a military model or a civilian model?

You let out the genie, so well, yes, this model is known.

I don´t know if there are photo´s online, but I would expect them to be.
I did not come up with a successfull search either.

Where do you find that?
All I get is an auction ended early.
With a feeble attempt at the last moment to allow international bidders.

Seller must have realised something was amiss.

pcke2000. It is rare. Not something you will expect to find, not even on ebay.

In fact it is extremely rare. The Zeiss museum in Jena has one but the inscriptions are different.

Thank you. I wonder why I couldnt find that under the sellers ended auctions? Probably just me.

Must have been a fun moment for the seller, when it jumped from $ 1250.- to $ 2801 at the last moment.
