Any Value in a 1943 Carl Zeiss - Swedish Contract?

Picked these up on a whim...EASILY the best optical clarity of any binocular I have ever owned.

Cool being WW2...but not really my taste, being a Swedish contract/export version.

Any value in these types? Lesser or more than the German variant?

    TIA

Remember - both is German made

( and maybe the Swedish ones is more rare than the German variant and have higher value . The swedish ones dont have code markings even its made in the correct period . Try to find a German variant in the same period without code markings . But yes I do know of the trouble with high value vs Swedish markings . There was two binoculars for sale at a streetmarked 5 years ago . One 6x30 german variant at 450 Nkr and one Swedish contract 8x60 deckmounted at 300 Nkr . The seller didnt see any value in the Deckmountet because it did have Swedish markings . ) .

        1943 ???? Hard to see but is the serial starting with 217 ??? --- 1941 ?????

Original swedish ones are about the same value as a german 6x30. In my experience. Maybe a little less. Yours is splendid quality.
I frequently check out sales and flea markets in Sweden. ( takes 45 minutes by train to get to Sweden from here. )

Around 1958 the swedes refinished some of their 6x30, adding outer rubber protection. Usually less attractive, but still Zeiss, or whatever other brand they had bought.

Yours is original WWII and, in my view, very good.

I think he meant 1942 as that's on the bino. There were three batches beginning 217xxxx of 2,000 each beginnining Aug 1941 and continuing into Sept 1941 (my own one comes from the second batch).

If you are a German militaria collector...Swedish contract is not collectible, so less valuable. Now, if you are an optics collector, it might be worth more...
