            Ugh! The bino (most of it anyway) looks Soviet maybe, but the eyepieces are from a WW II period U.S. or Canadian 6x30.

              If they're not Zeiss (and they're not) then, by definition, the Zeiss stamp is bad too.

              Check out the markings against other SS (Ruka and Srb & Stys) on here and check out the binocular against Soviet 6x30's and you'll know as much as the guy who engraved them.

                I've just noticed the Soviet maker's mark on the left bridge - some careless old faker!

                And well spotted Wpgbinocular on the US / Canadian eyepieces. I didn't notice that - the glaring errors distracted me.
