    Funny.
In Denmark we had Storm P. Even today, when something is called "Storm P" it is either a very complicated machine, or something, albeit right, mildly insane.

The connection was even the theme of an exhibit here.. including Heath Robinson, Goldberg and our own Storm P.

Just adding two small lines here.

Archibald, What is a high School student?
It´s someone, who goes to school to learn what the rest of us just know.

Or this one, ( a Tuborg Beer advertisement)
Perikles, can you tell me, when does a Tuborg taste the best?
    Everytime!

I think I tend to get carried away.
After all, this was about a WaA marked unknown item.

Gents, I'm getting lost with all this philosophical conversation

It could be the handles for a tool or instrument. When a clock maker apprentice , we had a special tool to screw closed the back of watches. This could be a part to screw parts of optics...

Haha, at least I got smarter, now i know something about Heath Robinson and an euphemism i like good humor.

A handles of a tool or instrument seems logical to me. Gosh, this is a really unknown detail, how interesting is that so thank you guys anyway
